Central Football

This course provides coaches with the framework and methodology to become a professional, ‘expert’ coach. The focus of the course is on identifying football problems and designing realistic game situations to address those problems. It also concentrates on “how” to coach youth or senior players by creating appropriate game environments and guiding players with tasks to effectively engage them in a learning process.

The OFC/NZF A Licence is the pinnacle of the coach education pathway and provides coaches with an opportunity to develop both on and off the pitch.

The course encourages coaches to have a deeper understanding of themselves, players and support staff to deliver high quality performances for modern day football.

Candidates will be challenged to think and analyse their coaching practice critically and seek ways to enhance their coaching practice within their current context, and that of any future roles at High Performance level.
