New Zealand Football has partnered with Sporty.co.nz to provide the national football registration and competition management system

From 2026 onwards, COMET has been replaced by Sporty.co.nz.  Sporty is now the official provider for NZ Football for online registrations, club member management, team entries, competition management, and live scoring.

Comprehensive training for football clubs was provided during late Q4, 2025 and Q1, 2026. Recordings of those workshops along with short videos of key tasks and links to resources for all football clubs are available at www.myfootball.co.nz.

  1. Visit www.myfootball.co.nz for the answer.
  2. Check the Sporty knowledge base at https://support.sportsground.com
  3. Ask SportyAI – either visit www.sporty.co.nz/ai or click the ‘?’ question mark help button at the bottom right of your screen when logged in to Sporty.
  4. Ask your Federation contact. Your Federation can also guide you on issues/questions that relate to policy rather than the platform.

IMPORTANT: If your club subscribes to a Sporty VIP plan, you can phone the Sporty Helpdesk during business hours on 0800 777 876. You will need to have your PIN handy. If you subscribe to a VIP service and don't know your PIN, please email support@sportsground.com to request it.
