Men's Lotto Federation League Winners - Palmerston North United F.C

The Lotto Men's Federation League title was determined by the final match of the season at Memorial Park on Saturday. Palmerston North Marist and Palmerston North United entered the game tied for first place on the table. The equation was clear - the winner would claim the league title. After a season filled with close competition between the two sides, Palmerston North United emerged victorious with a strong 4-0 win, securing the title of Lotto Men's Federation League Champions for 2024.

Head Coach Donald Piper said the whole day was an incredible experience; "I thought the team performed exceptionally well on Saturday. We executed our plan well and then were able to sit off and see the game out. It was a fantastic occasion, to see so many kids running around and supporters at The Cauldron was magnificent.”

United is now shifting their attention to the Central League playoffs, with the first leg scheduled for this weekend;  "The intent of Palmerston North United was always to bring back Central League and then National League Football to the region and we have the chance to give promotion a decent crack. I couldn’t be prouder of the team, the Club and the support we've received going into this weekend and after getting this massive win it only doubled.” said Piper.

The playoffs will consist of a home-and-away series against the winner of the Men’s Capital Premier League ( Toa ITM Upper Hutt City Football) , with the winner earning promotion to the Men's Central League for the 2025 season.
