It was a big day for the home side THS Moturoa hosting second place Whanganui Athletic. Moturoa, still looking for the first win of the season were beaming at half time as a late Talia Hinz goal in added time, put the home side ahead at the break. Moturoa grabbed a second halfway through the second half, looking good for the points before Whanganui got a late goal to make the dying stages interesting.  Moturoa held on and were good value for their first points of the season in front of the home crowd.
