Round #19 24^th and 25^th August

Central Football will be hosting a senior prize giving this year and is set down for Monday 23^rd of September. Details out to clubs in the next week or so.

Horizons Premiership

Its all done and dusted with Levin AFC coming out triumphant winners! Massey now with their league fate out of their hands had Takaro in the early game, the student set to work and were rewarded with a comfortable win 6-1. Luke Breyenton scoring 4! Massey were now like United of years before, champions but waiting to the hear the result of the other match. Just like City broke United hearts, Levin shattered Massey dreams with a comfortable 4-0 over Athletic. A single point deciding the Premiership for 2019. Hokowhitu and Marist reserves played out an entertaining 8 game match, Hokowhitu coming home the strongest to take the game 5-3. Feilding and Red Sox Reserves had a thrilling match that Red Sox just edged and held out Feilding for the 3^rd spot on the table.

360 Logistics Championship – Charity Cup

Fixtures turned to semi finals of the Cup competition and  Jokers continued their great season form to beat A’s 4-2. Latino’s were undone by North End development 5-1. The final is schedule for this Saturday at Memorial Park as part of a double-header. Get out and support your club!

Manawatu Division 2

Levin Sports were too strong at home for Feilding and put the visitors away with a solid 4-0 performance. Wrinklies were undone by Massey 3-2 in a highly competitive match. In the final match Rebels were to good for Fury and took the game 3-0. It’s the final round this weekend before cup fixtures, lets hope for some fine weather. 

Manawatu Division 3 – Bill Dyer Cup

Celts got one back on Massey Athletic with an epic 4-3 win! The match was free flowing and the Celts were well deserved of their win. Resonant Masters made it a all Marist final knocking North End socials out with a comfortable 5-2 win. The final is part of the double header down at Memorial so get along!!

Manawatu Masters

We move into the final round in what has been another successful year in the Masters league. Dannevirke Vikings were strong at home and beat the Plunderers 4-0, Legends and Hustlers played out a 1-1 draw. In a Marist derby Rovers defeated Jesters 4-2 to secure a minimum of 3^rdplace finish and Inter were made to work hard for their 2-1 win against Feilding. Pahiatua and Levin engaged in a 5 goal thriller with the visitors taking the win 3-2.

Manawatu Women’s Premiership

Mayhem by name, Mayhem by nature! Mysteries put up a valiant fight but league winners and undefeated Mayhem were just relentless. Evergreenz and Misfits played our a competitive 3-2 match. The experience of Evergreenz just edging the game. North End were unable to move up the table as Levin were too strong and won 3-0..

Manawatu Women’s Championship

CLOVERS WIN!!! We are so pleased for the ladies who have battled hard all season with a smile on their faces! A 2-1 against Hawks on Sunday. Massey University were to strong for visitors Dannevirke on the weekend. The win setting up a winner takes all match against Avengers on Sunday.
