In this week's game of the round, we had Thirsty Whale NCR Reserves taking Electrinet Gisborne Thistle. Thirsty Whale NCR Reserves produced a strong second-half performance to overcome an early setback and secure a 4–1 victory over Electrinet Gisborne Thistle. Gisborne Thistle made a fast start with Jimmy Somerton opening the scoring in the 3rd minute. NCR responded with composure and gradually took control of the match after the break. Finn Baragwanath led the charge with goals in the 62nd and stoppage time (90'+2), while Brett McBride added to the tally in the 75th minute. An own goal added to the scoreline, sealing three well-earned points for the home side. After going behind early, NCR showed resilience and attacking quality to turn the game in their favour and finish strongly.
