It was a single goal to Bridie Jessica Christie that had Wellington Phoenix Academy U18 Girls ahead of Excel Refrigeration Moturoa AFC at the break when they faced off at the Fraser Park Turf this weekend. Moturoa did a good job to frustrate the Phoenix Academy girls who struggled to break down the visiting side. The second half saw more solid defence from Moturoa. Wellington Phoenix Academy doubled their lead through Maisy McDonald in the 60th minute before Isabella Temple sealed the 3 goal win when she scored in the 84th minute.

In the game of the round, we had Tremains Port Hill United Premiers taking on NP Physiotherapy FC Western in neutral Palmerston North. Port Hill United started strong with an early goal from Matt Betesta in the 11th minute and took a 1–0 lead into halftime. However, NP Physiotherapy FC Western came out firing after the break, scoring three goals in just 14 minutes. Jack Flood equalized in the 49th minute, followed quickly by Ben Hutchings in the 50th, and Jordi Fettis added a third in the 63rd. Betesta scored again in the 76th to give the hosts hope, but Hutchings sealed the win for NP FC Western with his second goal in the 79th minute. A dominant second-half performance gave NP FC Western a deserved 4–2 victory.

In the game of the round, we had GJ Gardner Homes Whanganui Athletic Women taking on Wallace Roofing Takaro AFC X-Force. Wallace Roofing Takaro AFC X-Force made a strong start to the match, opening the scoring in the 23rd minute through Kowhai Eynon-Hudson, giving the visitors an early advantage. Whanganui Athletic responded steadily and found their equalizer in the 38th minute through Stella Warner, ensuring the teams went into the break level at 1–1. After halftime, Whanganui Athletic came out with greater intensity and control. They took the lead in the 55th minute via Lana O’Connor, turning the momentum firmly in their favor. As the pressure mounted on the visiting side, Isla Jones added a third in the 66th minute, extending the cushion and putting Whanganui firmly in control. The home side continued to dictate play and rounded off the performance with a fourth goal in the 74th minute, this time through Kaitlin Ahonen, completing a dominant second-half display.

In this week's game of the round, we had the catchup game between Levin AFC and GJ Gardner Homes Whanganui Athletic. In a much-anticipated top-of-the-table showdown, GJ Gardner Homes Whanganui Athletic came out on top with a thrilling 5–3 away win over Levin AFC in a high-tempo, end-to-end contest. Whanganui Athletic started strongly, asserting early dominance. Ilias El Maakoul opened the scoring in the 12th minute, and Zachary Farmer doubled the lead just six minutes later, putting pressure on the hosts. Levin responded through Oliver James in the 34th minute, trimming the deficit and ensuring the match stayed competitive heading into the break. Momentum shifted quickly after halftime. Dragiša Eraković restored the two-goal cushion for Whanganui in the 48th minute, only for Nathan Schischka to reply to Levin ten minutes later, making it 3–2 and keeping the contest finely balanced. However, Whanganui Athletic proved more clinical in key moments. Ryan Noon struck in the 76th minute to make it 4–2. James pulled one back with his second of the day in the 82nd, but El Maakoul completed his brace with a stoppage-time goal to seal the result.
