The Bailey Cup game of the round we had Smash Palace Shockers Gold taking on Sunshine Brewing Wainui Sharks. Wainui would start the game well with a goal from Jet Koll in the 18th minute. Shockers would reply near instantly from an unfortunate own goal from Matias Pincini in the 25th minute. It would remain 1-1 at halftime, with the game in the balance. Shockers would come out in the second half bright and look to gain the lead. They would be rewarded with two goals from Bradley Clark (55’) and Maxwell Harris (75’) to take a 3-1 lead. They would have the quality and composure to hang on to take the game 3-1.

Tairāwhiti Women's Championship

In the Tairāwhiti Women's Championship game of the round we had Gisborne Laundry Service Wainui Riverina taking on Smash Palace Shockers Ladies Black. Wainui will be looking to extend their lead at the top while Shockers were looking to keep in touching distance of the top. Only 1 goal would separate the two sides as Wainui would take the game 2-1.
