YORB Eastern Premiership Round 5

In this weekend's match of the round, Napier City Rovers faced off against Port Hill at Marewa Park. The undefeated Napier City Rovers side was pumped up for what promised to be an exhilarating game. On the other hand, Port Hill, after a series of close matches this season, was determined to secure some much-needed points. Both teams battled fiercely, but the first half ended without a goal from either side.

The tension mounted in the second half, and it was Port Hill who broke the deadlock with a goal from Matt Betesta. Despite their best efforts, Napier City Rovers couldn't find the back of the net. In the 86th minute, Port Hill further solidified their lead with another goal, securing a 2-0 victory on the day.
