Yorb Western Premiership
In this week's game of the round, we had Peggy’s Gordon’s NP Rangers AFC taking on NP Physiotherapy at Stadium Taranaki. This was expected to be a tight, tactical affair between two Taranaki rivals. The first goal wouldn't arrive until the 32nd minute thanks to FC Western’s Matthew Sanger. This goal would give FC Western a slender 1-0 lead at halftime. The second half continued very much as the first did. Both sides shared opportunities with no team taking real control of the game. With the game nearing the end Flynn Whitaker stepped up in the 85th minute to give FC Western that crucial second goal. Rangers would not give up however, managing to get one back from Logan Smith to create a frantic finish. Unfortunately for them time would be their enemy as FC Western would hang on to take a tight 2-1 victory.

In this week's game of the round, we had St John’s Club Castlecliff United taking on Rivercity FC. This was a thrilling match ending 4-3 in favour of St John’s.
