Weekly Review 5-6 April 2025.
Men’s Central League 2
This week saw Palmerston North United travel down to Hutt Park to play Stop Out Sports Club who were looking to improve their slow start to the season. As expected the first half started with both teams doing their best to feel the opposition out this led to a few shots from both clubs but nothing to really trouble either keeper so nil all at the break. The second half open up a bit more as both teams chased a decisive first goal. Stop Out thought they had got themselves on the scoreboard but the Palmerston North United Defence made sure the scores stayed locked as they cleared the ball off the line midway through the second half. Stop Out were then denied by the Palmerston North United keeper as he parried a shot destined for the corner of the net over the bar. Nil all the final score.
