Yorb Eastern Premiership Round 2

In this weekend's highly anticipated match, Gisborne United made the journey to Bluewater Stadium to take on the formidable Napier City Rovers Reserves. Both teams had impressive seasons last year, setting the stage for an exhilarating showdown. The Rovers wasted no time asserting their dominance, with Kees Mackirdy scoring two goals early on. Rueben Thurston Lee-lo further solidified their lead with a goal in the 79th minute. Although Josh Adams managed to score a late goal for United, it wasn't enough to overcome the Rovers' strong performance. The final blow came from Mattis Weseloh, sealing the victory with a final score of 4-1.

Tairāwhiti Division 2  Round 1

This weekend, the neighborhood Pizzeria Wainui Salty Dogs faced off against Marist Shockers FC in an epic showdown! The Shockers came out strong in the first half, scoring goals thanks to Kaleb Jacobs and Zane Destounis. Kaleb continued to dominate in the second half, scoring another goal in the 65th minute. Wainui managed to score one goal thanks to Ricky Boyd, but it wasn't enough to catch up to the Shockers. In the end, the Shockers emerged victorious with a final score of 3-1.
