Ben Mitchell appointed to the position of Competition Manager – West


Central Football are delighted to announce that Ben Mitchell has been appointed to the position of Competition Manager – West, following Matt Wallace’s transition to the role of Referee Manager for the Federation.

Ben brings with him a wealth of experience in football, from coaching at Central League level through to club administration. His deep knowledge of the football landscape within our federation, as well as our operational processes and the unique characteristics of our clubs, make him a valuable addition to our Competitions team.

Central Football Federation Operations Manager Donald Piper has this to say about the appointment " We are excited to have Ben onboard. After a robust selection process where the calibre of applicant was excellent, we are delighted to have appointed Ben. Having a broad range of experience within football from being on club committees and coaching through to playing Ben has a solid understanding of the footballing landscape within the Federation. Matt has left the space in great shape and I'm sure Ben will put his mark on it once he has his feet under the desk."

Ben started his new role this week and is based out of the Manawatu office. We are thrilled to welcome him aboard and are confident he will be a great asset to the Federation.
