Duchess Cup Final
The 2024 Duchess Cup Final saw Masonic Hotel & Bar Waitara SC take on HEL Rimu NP Rangers Development in front of a vocal crowd at Manukorihi Park. It was all action from the word as NP Rangers grabbed the first goal in the 10th minute through striker Gracey Edgcombe. 2 minutes later Ruby Stenning found the back of the net to double the lead. The score was then 3-0 as Gracey Edgcombe found the back of the net for a second time. The game continued to be end to end with both teams failing to capitalise on the chances they created until the 42nd minute when Cassidy Pringle finished off a well worked move to see Waitara get on the scoreboard. NP Rangers regained their 3 goal lead when Nina Laird was on the end of a ball into the box to bullet a header home just before the half time break.
Waitara were first to score in the second half when Grace Soffe beat the keeper in the 52nd minute. The goals kept flowing as NP Rangers netted 3 times in 10 minutes with goals to Heidi Johns in the 59th minute and a brace to Jennifer Stoiber in the 61st and 69th minutes. Waitara pulled 2 goals back in the 74th minute through Sharnele Murray and Kailey Hastie in the 81st minutes. The last 9 minutes held plenty of excitement for the crowd but neither team were able to the score line. Final score 7-4 to HEL Rimu NP Rangers Development.

Duchess Plate Final
Tungsten Legal Stratford AFC made the perfect start in the Duchess Plate Final when Tayte Hancock scored after just 4 minutes. Eltham goalkeeper Sharon Oliver did well to keep her team in the game with a number on saves as both teams created plenty of chances throughout the first half with both teams having the ball cleared off the line by the opposite defences. Stratford added 2 more goals in quick succession just before the end of the first half with a strike to Olivia Bright then Tayte Hancock was quickest to react off a sloppy restart to grab her 2nd goal of the gale and give Stratford a 3-0 lead at the break. The second half saw more opportunities to both teams. Olivia Bright scored her second and Stratford’s 4th goal in the 56th minute. Eltham got reward for there hard work when Tarin Nicholls 61st minute.
