This month’s Central Football Valuable Volunteer for Whanganui is Ben Crockett-Androutsos – Whanganui Marist

Ben is an integral member of the Whanganui Marist Football Club and the Whanganui Football Community.

He has been a part of the Marist Football Club, as a player and committee member for over 15 years and has recently taken on the responsibility of managing all Marist Junior teams along with coaching his own junior team for the past three years. Ben volunteer’s immense amounts of time into coaching the boys, who have had a lot of success and enjoyment this season.

Ben has taken the time to organise tournament trips out of town for the boys to attend. He also sorted sponsorship for the junior teams to have new kits to play in.

Not only does Ben coach, he has played for many years in the local football scene. He has fostered a great relationship with members from all Whanganui Clubs and is well respected within the community.

Congratulations to Ben—a truly deserving recipient of this month’s award.
