Central Football are pleased to announce Alisa Schlierike has taken on the role of Community Development Assistant within the organisation and will be based in Hawke’s Bay. This new role has been created to provide administration support to the Development team and our senior representative teams. Additional to this Alisa will be able to offer support from a delivery perspective across our community products allowing us to expand the amount of programmes we offer.
Alisa Schlierike said "I am really looking forward to taking on this role with Central Football and being able to further my knowledge and experience in the community development space."
Alisa will be well known to many in the Hawke’s Bay Football community through her League Manager roles with Community Futsal, Holiday Programme Co-ordinator for Central Football and Napier City Rovers, as well as her Junior Co-ordinator role for Napier City Rovers. Alisa’s appointment into this newly created position comes after Kate Bennett moved from a joint development/admin support role to Manawatu’s Community Development Officer.
Community Development Manager Leon Birnie said “I am extremely pleased with Alisa’s appointment and am excited for what she will bring to the role. Alisa has done some excellent work in the community space and those experiences combined with her natural enthusiasm and love for the sport is going to see her have a positive impact across the Federation”.
