Central Football are delighted to announce the arrival of our new Community Development Officer of Gisborne/Tairāwhiti, Lee Smith.

Lee started with us on 26 July and has now had some time to settle into the role, meet some of our local football community and have his family relocate to the region.

Originally from the UK, Lee has been in New Zealand for several years and up until his move to Gisborne/ Tairāwhiti, Lee and his family were based in Whakamarama, just out of Tauranga. Lee has extensive coaching and player development experience, and we are positive that he will be able to continue the fine work Seba Itman has done over the past 18 months or so in the region.

As mentioned, Lee has now been joined by his wife and their three young children and will be making himself known to the wider local football community in coming weeks.
