Background Information
General for all Knockout Competitions 1.1 For all Knockout Cup competitions each Club shall indicate the number of teams to be entered by completing an entry form sent to each Club for this purpose and returning it to the Regional Administrator by the closing date on the entry form. 1.2 By completing the entry form Clubs agree to abide by the conditions of these Regulations. 1.3 The Regional Administrator shall determine the date and time of fixtures and shall have the right to vary the date and time as needed. 1.4 Players must be registered with a Club and Central Soccer for not less than seven (7) days prior to any cup fixture 1.5 A player shall only play for one (1) Club and one (1) team for each competition. 1.6 The Two (2) teams that reach the final of each Knockout shall submit a team list of eligible players to the Regional Manager no less than (5) days prior to the date of the Final 1.7 All other Central Soccer playing regulations will apply DUFF ROSEBOWL
The Duff Rose Bowl Knockout Cup shall be open to the top 16 teams in the competition after the 1st round of competition. Each round will be drawn out of a “hat”.
1. Players selected for TT will only be eligible to play in the Duff Rose Bowl where they have taken the filed for TT in 50% or less games for the total TT season. (ie if 18 games and they have played in 9 or less games at any time in the competition then they can play) 2. Players shall be only be permitted to play in the Final where they have taken the field for that team in one(1) previous round. 3. Once a player has played in the Duff Rose Bowl they are Cup tied. 4. No more than 3 players can be re-graded down to the next highest graded team in the Nimmos Cup in any one game as long as they are not cup tied. 5. No more than 2 players can play in another team from the same club competing in the Duff Rose Bowl as long as they are not cup tied. 6. Once a team has been knocked out of the Nimmo’s Cup Competition then players may compete in the Duff Rose Bowl. This is restricted to a maximum of 2 players. The final will be held on finals day and will comprise of 7. Two halves of 45 minutes 8. Rolling substitutes will not be permitted 9. If scored are level at full time then 2, 15 minute periods of extra time will be played 10. If scores are still level then kicks from the penalty mark will take place under FIFA rues. NIMMO'S CUP
The Nimmos Cup Knockout Cup competition shall be open to all teams in Division 1 and Division 2 after the 1st round of competitions. Each round will be drawn out of a “hat”. 1. Players selected for Team Taranaki will not be eligible except where the clubs highest graded team competes in the Divison 1 league. 2. Players selected for TT will only be eligible to play in the Nimmo’s Cup Knockout Cup where they have taken the field for TT in 50% or less games for the total TT season. (ie if 18 games and they have played in 9 or less games at any time in the competition then they can play) 3. WOMENS DUCHESS CUP
The Duchess Cup shall be open to all Clubs competing in the Taranaki Senior Women’s Leagues during the current season. 1. This Duchess Cup Competition will be decided by the league administrator when number of entries and have been confirmed for the season. 2. Players shall be only be permitted to play in the Final where they have taken the field for that team in one(1) previous round. 3. The final will be held on finals day and will comprise of 4. Two halves of 45 minutes. 5. Rolling Substitutes will be permitted. 6. For the final if scores are level at full time then 2, 15-minute periods of extra time will be played 7. For the final if scores are still level then kicks from the penalty mark will take place under FIFA rules. GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL DUCHESS TROPHY The Duchess Trophy shall be open to all Girls High School teams competing in the Taranaki Girls High School League during the current season. 1. The Duchess Trophy Competition will be decided by the league administrator when number of entries and playing weeks have been confirmed for the season. 2. Players shall be only be permitted to play in the Final where they have taken the field for that team in one(1) previous round. 3. The final will be held on finals day and will comprise of 4. Two halves of 35 minutes 5. Rolling Substitutes will be permitted 6. If scores are level at full time then 2, 10-minute periods of extra time will be played. 7. If scores are still level then kicks from the penalty mark will take place under FIFA rules. CHALLENGE CUPS Men’s Premier, Division 1 and Division 2 have Challenge Cups. At the start of the season the team holding the trophy at the end of the previous season shall display the trophy at its first home game. Should the team lose the game the trophy is passed onto the winner, who will in turn display and defend it at their next home game. A drawn game will see the holder at the start of the game retain the trophy till the next game. At the conclusion of the season the holder after the last game will be presented with trophy, engraved for that season with that team’s name.
