Included in the issue is scheduling information for the Junior Football Ferns - captained by Manawatu's own Anna Green - who are currently performing with distinction at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup Germany 2010.

The side suffered an agonising 2-1 loss to Sweden in their opening fixture (Tuesday night NZ time), and can look forward to fixtures against Korea DPR and Brazil.

The Koreans are especially strong at an age-group level, and acheived what many would somewhat incorrectly see as a surprise win over the imperviously dominant Brazilians.
