Knockout Cup Rules
General 1. Each round will be drawn out of the “hat”. 2. 1st Round will be used to remove byes from the competition. 3. Players who have appeared in the Chatham Cup are still eligible to play in the Senior Cup competition. Central Soccer Regulation 3, 6 Player Eligibility a) ii will apply. 4. Any team who defaults a scheduled fixture will be ineligible to compete in any subsequent knockout competition. 5. Players cannot play in more than one Cup competition. Once a player has been placed on a team card in any cup game, that player is deemed to be “Cup Tied” with that team. Any club who breaches this clause will incur the following. i. The opposing club is to be credited with a 2 - 0 winning result. ii. The winning team will be disqualified from the competition. iii. If both clubs are found to be in breach the match results shall be null and void. Both teams will be disqualified from the competition. Men's (Bailey Cup, Chris Moore Cup, Poverty Bay Cup etc) 1. Bailey Cup - 3 subs can be used. These are not rolling. 2. All other Cup competitions – 5 subs can be used and these may roll 3. Two halves of 45 minutes. 4. If scores are level at full time then 2, 15-minute periods of extra time will be played 5. If scores are still level then kicks from the penalty mark will take place under FIFA rules. 6. Winning team MUST ring through the result to, Central Soccer administrator Women's (Braybrook Cup) 1. Two halves of 40 minutes. 2. 5 subs can be used and these may roll. 3. If scores are level at full time then 2, 15-minute periods of extra time will be played 4. If scores are still level then kicks from the penalty mark will take place under FIFA rules 5. Winning team MUST ring through the result to Central Soccer administrator
