The full time Football Development Officer (FDO) will play a vital role within Mainland Football, delivering club, school and coach specific WOF programmes. The workload of the FDO is varied and you will be working with a mix of different people and situations. Each day you will be faced with the challenge of utilising your football development experience, planning and motivation skills to enthuse and encourage young players and coaches to maintain their involvement and increase their skill in the game, and to support clubs in their activity of the same. Each session includes skill-based training, so kids can learn the tricks and techniques to become better players. There is also plenty of chances to play football games to apply these skills in a fun, safe environment. VACANCY: Football Development Officer

 Situation Vacant – Football Development Officer (full-time position) Auckland Football Federation is seeking applications for the position of Football Development Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, managing and implementing a variety of football development projects whilst working in partnership with Auckland Football Federation’s affiliated clubs, local schools, Regional Sports Trusts, voluntary organisations and New Zealand Football. Responsibilities include; developing Fun Football Centres, Holiday Programmes, Football Festivals within our community based products and working with clubs to implement the award-winning Whole of Football Plan while focusing on key strategic priorities including:
- Junior Framework - Coach Education - Federation Talent Centre
This is a full time position based in Auckland. The successful candidate will ideally have a relevant tertiary qualification and will hold NZF (or equivalent) football coaching qualifications. Eastland Super Leagues Update The two Dvisions will now be split into top 6 and bottom 4. All points will be carried over though the teams in positions 7 -10 cannot finish any higher than 7th regardless of their points total.
