Central Staff

Central Football have regional offices in all 5 regions with administrative and coaching staff. On the Central Home page is a list of all paid staff and on each Regional page a list of staff relevant to your region. A big thanks must go to all our voluntary helpers who assist us in so many ways in all our regions. Without your help it would not be possible to run our Federation properly.

The roles of staff are complex and during the season we are very busy both during the week and at weekends. While Mobile numbers are available on the site please refrain from calling them in the evenings and at weekends unless really necessary.

Monica was appointed in 2006 as our Financial Manager and you can contact her between the  hours of 9am and 3pm.  For any advise and assistance on budgeting, running clubs, trust funding, plus any debtor concerns please give her a call.

Monica is also involved in administration of our Player development programmes and purhasing of all capital items.  Monicas family are all involved in football both playing and coaching.

Brett came over from England to commence working for us  in April 2009. His background includes being a professional player from 1986 to 2003 for a number of clubs in the UK and after retiring from playing gained his UEFA  “A” licence and FA coach tutor level 1 & 2.  Brett has coached players at grassroots and elite level with clubs such as Bolton Wanderers, Portsmouth, Wales U19’s and has run academies and established youth development programmes which included sports science and psychological needs of young footballers.

Brett is well qualified as High Performance Manager for our Federation and is looking forward to setting up player and coach development programmes with GDO'S in all our Regions.

Phil was appointed in 2006 and is responsible for the administration of Hawke's Bay. Phil's new position of Eastern Operations Manager will commence in 2010.

With a number of major football events in Hawke's Bay each year he is also responsbile for ensuring these are well run. A long time volunteer as player, coach, referee and administrator Phil brings a wealth of knowledge to the game and enjoys now working for the game he loves.

Ryan was appointed to the Regional Manager position for Gisborne in April 2009.

Ryan's new position of Western Operations Manager commences 2010, Ryan will be based in Palmerston North.

Aside of playing, he has been involved in the coaching and administrative side of football since his senior years at high school.

Having played representative football during his youth, he progressed to Melville United while completing a Bachelor of Sport and Leisure Studies at the University of Waikato – and won a Chatham Cup and Northern Premier League with Central United in 2007.

Ryan will be looking after the administrative matters for all football on the Western side of our Federation, as well as playing for Gisborne Thistle in the Pacific Premiership and coaching the Federation's goalkeepers.

 Appointed in 2008 Scott is responsible for liasing and coaching within  Gisborne and Hawke's Bay schools and Clubs re player and coach development as well as running academies, representative programme's and holiday programmes. Scott has an extensive background playing and Coaching Career in the UK and States.

Scott has been promoted to the Western Game Development Officer covering Manawatu & Wanagnui in August 2010.

Alan has been involved in football refereeing for a number of years, originally starting refereeing in Franklin.  He then moved to the Manawatu and progressed on to be a FIFA Linesman/Assistant Referee (the name changed during these years).  Alan has experience in management and administration in the education sector as well as vast teaching experience.  

Referee Development Officer  is a part time position which involves strategic planning and co-ordination of our 5 regional referee committees to deliver recruitment and development initiatives against the business plan.
