Central Football appointed John as its Chief Executive Officer in March 2011. Prior to that engagement John had a “summer season stint” as General Manager of Hawke’s Bay United Football and prior to that spent 9 years as General Manager of Hawke’s Bay Racing Incorporated. With a background of building relationships amongst any array of diverse stakeholders it is John’s responsibility to implement the policies and strategic direction of the Board of Central Football across the large geographical spread of the Central Federation.

Monica was appointed in 2006 as Central Football’s Financial Manager, and for advice and/or assistance on budgeting, club financials, capital purchases and any debtor or creditor concerns is the person to speak to. Monica has an avid interest in football with all her family involved in the sport through playing and coaching, and hence is also involved in the in administration of our player development programmes

Phil joined Central Football in 2006 and was appointed Eastern Operations Manager in 2010, where his responsibilities include the management of tournaments and games in Hawke’s Bay and Gisborne. This all encompassing role makes him the first contact point for draws, fixtures, results, grounds, referees and player transfers for the Eastern area, whilst he also deals with the misconducts for the whole Federation.  A long time volunteer as player, coach, referee and administrator Phil brings a wealth of knowledge to the Central Football operation.

New Plymouth domiciled Aroha joined Central Football in January 2013. Aroha has an impressive background in sports management at both regional and national level and has also had significant experience in working with volunteers and voluntary organisations.  She also carries a strong football pedigree having played at club and representative level.

 In 2008 Scott commenced his employment with Central Football in the Poverty Bay region, after an extensive playing and coaching career in the UK and States. In August 2010 he was appointed to the Football Development Officer position for Manawatu and Wanganui. His responsibilities in that role include the “on the grass” implementation of the WOFP for those regions, whilst he is also actively involved in other player and coach development initiatives.

Leon joined the team at Central Football in June 2011, following a number of years of employment with the Hawke’s Bay United Football Academy. Leon has and still enjoys a stellar career as a player having been one of the foremost strikers in the ASB Premiership for a number of years. He has also been involved in a number of coaching initiatives and programmes, all of which will give much added value to the delivery of the WOFP in Hawke’s Bay

Nathaniel (Nat) Wright was appointed the Federation’s Futsal Development Officer in June 2012. Nat is a FIFA Level 1 Futsal coach whilst his on court experiences includes playing for Hawke’s Bay Futsal trialing with New Zealand Futsal. Nat has also been Hawke’s Bay Futsal’s League Manager and holds a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation degree. Nat's responsibilties include attracting new participants to the game and upskilling and educating at both coaching and playing levels.

Janine has been with Central Football since 2011, with her role providing administration support to the Whole of Football team and the Eastern Operations Manager. Janine has being a football player herself, and remains actively involved in the sport through her position as Assistant Manager for the Napier Marist Premier Team, a club that she is also a past President of.
